Val d’Isere

Val d'Isere | Small Groups

As one of the world’s premier ski resorts, Val d’Isere nestled in the heart of the Espace Killy area (which boasts more skiable terrain than Whistler) is infamously regarded as the preserve of only those with cash to splash.

Apart from offering endless opportunities for posing on the deck of the original Folie Douce, Val d’Isere, linked with Tignes and La Fornet also offers endless skiing with something for every ability and discipline.  Over 2 glaciers and 330km of pisted terrain, with nice long blues and reds for intimidates and beginners, challenging off piste couloirs and tree runs for more experienced powder hunters.  Plus for freestylers there are 2 world class parks and the formidable X-Games Super-Pipe in neighbouring Tignes.

However, in true Wasteland style we are able to offer fantastically priced packages for those with beer budgets and champagne tastes.

Le Graal Club

Give the barman a kiss and you might just get a free pint…but only if you’re a man. This is a student favourite with music ranging from vintage classics to the next big thing.

Moris Pub

Your local – in the alps. With amazing après bands and a great friendly vibe this is a sure thing for both a post ski drink or a big night out.

Dicks Tea Bar

Arguably the most popular club in Val d’Isere, this is a great venue for live music. Pop in for an evening drink or if you want a lively scene it’s open until the early hours.

Petit Danois

Right in the centre of town, this bar is split into a chilled out games room and a livelier dance floor. Jamie from HQ’s favourite bar in the alps!

Saloon, Val d’Isere

On the piste and perfect for a post ski pint. Great for students looking for cheap drink deals.
