Resort Info

The most glitzy and glamorous resort in the Alps, St. Moritz is world famous for being the place to be seen in the winter months.

With the title of the ‘world’s sunniest ski resort’ and its romantic setting nestled amongst forests in the beautiful corner of the southeastern Swiss Alps, the‘exclusive’ resort has some of the most stunning panoramic views in the Alps which can be taken in from one of the many mountain restaurants.

St. Moritz is perfect if you want the guarantee of powder fresh snow, thanks to its high altitude (3300m) and extensive snowmaking.

Made up of two villages, St Moritz-Bad on the lake and St Moritz-Dorf on the hillside above, St. Moritz is part of the huge Engadin ski domain made up of 5 holiday resorts which are all accessible by one ski pass giving access to some of the best intermediate runs anywhere in the Alps!

The off-slope activities are second to none, having been host to the Olympic Games twice, the resort has the world's oldest and only natural ice bobsled run (where the English Olympic  rowing team train), an Olympic ski-jump, the famous Cresta Run, horse- racing, polo and lots of varied festivals.

St. Moritz has never had a shortage of those who enjoy a crazy night out. And with good reason! The Apres-Ski is world famous for being some of the most extravagant of the Alps where the singing and dancing continues until the first get out of bed again to hit the slopes!
