Resort Info

Although a busy resort, St Anton still retains some of its tradition village charm that we love about ski resorts. Blessed with heavy snowfalls and an extensive system of snow canons, this resort, despite its altitude of 1304m has surprisingly good snow coverage all season round.  The resort is famous for its challenging skiing, spectacular scenery and lively après-ski. Couple this with it being an off-piste skier’s paradise then surely you have the perfect resort. On top of this the snow park was developed in the 2009/10 season making it perfect for freestyle riders wishing to work on their shapes.  The skiing terrain is very diverse with insane runs for advanced skiers or those who like a challenge and wide open runs for beginners and intermediates looking to boost their confidence.

St Anton arguably has the best apres-ski in the alps. Be prepared for a 3pm kick off in Krazy Kanguruh, make sure you get there early to grab a table or else you will have nothing to dance on, this then becomes a warm up to the bar Mooserwirt at 5pm. Here you just need to make sure you can find your skis again after a few jagermisters, this bar always makes the ski home entertaining when the music stops at 8pm.  Later on into the night (if you are still standing) head to the Piccadilly or Postkeller complex in the middle of town. The Piccadilly is meant for talking and the Postkeller for dancing predominately so take your pick. If you still have enough energy after this 9 hour drinking fest then head across the round to the night club called Kandahar just don’t expect to be up for the first lift in the morning and prepare for a mother of all hangovers. Also make sure you check out  Bar Cuba for staff prices, fancy dress nights and self-service beer dispensers!
