Resort Info
Mayrhofen is one of the world’s leading ski and snowboarding resorts!
Nestled in the beautiful Ziller Valley, the resort has stunning views and two ski areas –Ahorn and Penken, totaling 625km of piste! All of which can be accessed with one lift pass!
Inbetween the entrance to the valley and the Hintertux Glacier there are a further 4 ski areas providing an enormous area to explore. The Ahorn area is very popular with those of you finding your ‘ski-feet’ as it has exclusively easy slopes and a chance to relax at the White Lounge for some much deserved Glühwein! Intermediate and advanced skiers prefer to spend most of their time on the Penken, with the world famous Devil's Run.
Globally known to snowboarders as 'Big M', Mayrhofen is very snowboard-friendly, even bravely claiming to be a ‘Snowboarder’s Mecca’.
Mayrhofen is host to the famous 'Snowbombing' festival (2nd April). This self titled 'World's greatest show on snow' is a week long event featuring famous UK DJ's, live music and dancing throughout the night!
Mayrhofen has one of the liveliest après ski scenes in the Alps, with a massive range of bars, pubs and clubs to keep you in action till the early hours!
Mayrhofen has everything you'll need for a fantastic ski holiday.
