Courchevel is THE place to be in the Alps and is a great place to go if you fancy rubbing shoulders with the stars, as it is afavouritewith celebrities and royalty alike.               

Courchevel offers 150km of slopes plus over 60km of cross-country trails. And for those of you who like to play in the snow, you will have access to an incredible 3 snowparks as well as some of the steepest couloirs in Europe

Basing yourself in Courchevel will also give you the option of exploring the renowned three valleys area, the biggest linked ski area in the world.

Out of the snow, you can go on a hot air balloon flight or attempt some icefall climbing, visit the indoor pool and sauna or take a walk around the 100 shops in the resort.

As is to be expected from the holiday hangout of the stars, the night life cannot be beaten, with a huge choice of bars, clubs and restaurants on offer, ranging from the reasonably priced to the magnificently luxurious.

If you want to experience a holiday in the snow the way a movie star would, Courchevel is the place for you.

There is metered street parking is available throughout the resort between 07.00 - 20.00 but the local Police are very vigilant so don't risk getting a hefty fine if you overstay. Underground parking is available in all levels of the resort. Courchevel 1850 (just next to the Croisette) Courchevel 1650 (under the Hotel du Golf) Courchevel 1550 and at the entrance to Courchevel 1300 on the left, just past the boucherie. Prices go higher as you go higher up the mountain but range between €50 to €80 a week. There are 2 uncovered car parks in Courchevel 1300 on the left as you leave the village. These are free, with a capacity of 150 cars, however as explained on our self-drive page, be aware that digging your car out of a block of snow is not a lot of fun. Also the local authorities are notorious for suddenly putting up signs in the evenings to say that all cars need to be removed by 7am for snow clearance, if a minute late they will be towed away, so make sure you check every evening!
