Just half an hour from Grenoble, Chamrousse is placed in a beautiful section of the Alps and has lots to offer those who visit. The resort boasts almost 100km of piste which remains relatively uncrowded throughout the season. It is the perfect destination for a group of skiers and boarders with a mixture of experience. Chamrousse 1750 is well suited to beginners and children, while Chamrousse 1650 provides a more challenging experience for the more confident in your group, having been the setting for 6 Olympic events during the 1968 Winter Olympics.
 

Chamrousse also offers a snowpark, half pipe and boarder cross as well as 41km of cross country ski trails. In addition to the incredible ski and snowboarding opportunities, you can also try your hand at dog sledding, paragliding snowshoe walking and ice skating all in a glorious mountain setting.

Chamrousse is a relatively quite resort, with the après confined to a couple of bars and the main restaurant in the resort, however, there are plenty of good value restaurants to eat out at. We think this would be the perfect choice for a relaxing winter break with your family or a romantic holiday with your other half.
