Located in the North East of France the Tarentaise-Vanoise region is home to the resort of Champagny. Whilst not the highest of the Alp resorts at only 12500m, it’s traditional charm and above all great skiing are the appeals of this resort.
The lift pass provides access to the whole of La Plange area. Able to reach hights of above 3000m you will have access to 255km of piste. Also with connections to Les Arcs a combined skiing area produces 425km of pistes and 3 snowparks.
Situated on the entrance of the Vanoise National Park means that the resort has long been famed as a hiking centre. Other non sking activities include a ice climbing tower, snowshoeing, a cinema and weekly events to be enjoyed.
Quiet and peaceful by nature, the resort appeals mostly to those in search of a real Alpine experience. Restaurants and cafes are about all there is in the way of nightlife, putting off younger groups but attracting those wishing to relax.

Directions:
Motorway to Albertville then take road N90 towards Moutiers. From Moutier take road D915 towards «Vallee de Bozel», cross Bozel then take road D918 towards Champagny.

Closest Airport: Chambery

Chambery is the closer of the resorts however those looking for greater choice should look at Geneva. A good way to get to the resort is via the Altibus, a cheap but efficient public transport system.
