As resorts go we think this is an incredible option for large and small groups alike.  It hosts another fantastic ski and snowboard area boasting 220km of great mixed ability terrain. Like it’s neighbouring resort,  Les 2 Alpes, Alpe D’huez is another premier resort which ticks all the right boxes.

As an added bonus, dependent on your lift pass you purchase, you can also go for a day out skiing in Les 2 Alpes so ski 2 resorts in one week- ideal !

The resort can offer you door to door skiing and the ski lifts are always conveniently located wherever you may be staying.

With our own Yeti bar in the centre of the resort and downstairs from one of our main residences it’s another classic which makes organising the social aspect of your trip so much easier should this be something you are keen on including. Think in terms of having great music, fantastic food and drinks discounts- it works.  As for the additional nightlife options then Alpe D’Huez has it in spades.

If you are looking for a quieter, more family orientated trip to Alpe d’Huez, the facilities are fantastic with a large range of accommodation and plenty of non party activities such as swimming, ice skating and snowshoe walking.

Other useful info to know is that it has it’s own small glacier so it can often be a good bet early season and in terms of value for money it’s almost unrivaled for the standard of resort. If it was a car it would be a top of the range Volvo, solid, reliable, big, good value and comes with all the right toy’s!

In a nutshell, we believe it is one of the strongest resorts representing incredible value and convenience for a high end product.
